Beaufort Memorial Hospital joins the businesses providing rescued food to Second Helpings

We welcome Beaufort Memorial Hospital, the largest hospital between Savannah and Charleston, to our list of businesses and organizations that find value in rescuing food and providing the food to those in need.

On December 20th, Kelley Eby, our Beaufort Coordinator joined forces with volunteer Dorian and the staff at the hospital to load the truck with collected food and the food was delivered to First African Baptist Church of Beaufort.  Beaufort Memorial staff helped load the truck and volunteers from the church were on hand to offer muscle to unload the truck.

Special thank you to Ms. Linda Jackson, and Linda Brown.  They were thrilled to add this bounty to their food pantry offerings this holiday season.
